Therapeutic Massage
Massage therapy is therapeutic bodywork that assists increase your vitality, creativity and well-being. There are many different techniques and the type of massage given usually depends on your needs and physical condition. In general, massage works on your muscle and other soft tissue to help you feel more relaxed, relieving tension and stress. Specific techniques can be used for a range of purposes including sports therapy, myofascial trigger point therapy, and so much more. Sometimes essential oils are used to incorporate aromatherapy into the session. Research has shown evidence that points toward beneficial effects on pain and other symptoms associate with a number of conditions. Massage may assist with the following:

In a massage session, the therapist will excuse themselves so that you may disrobe to your comfort level. You will get onto the massage table, face up or face down, under the sheet, towel or other covering provided. During your session you will be draped at all times, and only the area being worked on will be exposed. Please continue to work with your primary care physician for your regular medical needs. Massage therapy is a great addition to your regular health care regimen that can create more relaxation, stress relief, emotional well-being and general overall well-being.
